What we do
Cincinnati Studies conducts research, and writes original reports on the history, sociology, economics, politics and cultural life of the city. We also publish on this website studies by other scholars, activists and residents.
Links and Abstracts
Cincinnati Studies provides abstracts of and links to other previously published studies of Cincinnati. Authors who have existing papers already on-line or in published in journals, or who have written theses, dissertations or published books should call these to our attention to those studies so that we can provide abstracts and links to them.
Educational Services
Cincinnati Studies conducts educational classes, lectures, and public forums on the issues which we research and write about. If you would like to have someone from Cincinnati Studies speak to your group see our contact page.

Manuscript Submission Guidelines
Cincinnati Studies will consider for publication on this website original manuscripts that analyze and critically comment on Cincinnati's history, sociology, economics, politics or culture. The manuscripts may be of any length and cover virtually any area of the city's life. Manuscripts may follow Chicago, MLA or standard social science style. At this time we particularly seek manuscripts examining issues of race in Cincinnati. Please query first.
